They can be short-term while you recover from an injury or illness, or long-term for many years. The services can range from simple check-ins to more comprehensive ones.

Call 1-800-478-9996 if you suspect an adult is being abused. This is a statewide hotline to report abuse or neglect of any adult or child to the Alaska Office of Children's Services (OCS).

If you suspect abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation of an elderly person or an adult with physical disabilities, report abuse or neglect to the OCS office in your area.
